The
Kit
The
SeaRey is offered as a complete kit, including everything
you need to finish the airframe, except for finish color
paint. Many tested and approved engine options are offered
to suit personal taste and requirements.
It
is not necessary to obtain the engine at the same time
as the airframe. You may wish to supply your own (however,
the engine and installation must be one approved by
Progressive Aerodyne for the SeaRey), or if you haven't
made up your mind which engine you prefer, you can wait
to order until construction of your kit is complete.
Plans
and mini-kits are not available.
You
are provided with aircraft-quality aluminum and steel
parts, AN hardware, components, and fabric. All parts
necessary to build your SeaRey are included, up through
the silver-coat paint. You need to provide only the
engine, propeller, battery, instruments and finish color
paint, allowing for your personal touch.
